Johann George - Co-founder
Johann co-founded Pattern Recognition in 1991 with Peter and Dave. Prior to founding Pattern Recognition Johan was the Chief Technology Officer at Commodore International, then a billion dollar manufacturer of personal computers where he was responsible for developing products such as the Amiga family of computers. Before Commodore Johann was the Vice President of peripheral manufacturer Tecmar that grew from a handful of people to over 700 employees. At age 13, Johann was the youngest student admitted to the University of Waterloo where he majored in mathematics. Six years later, he and two classmates founded the Mark Williams Company where he created Coherent, the first operating system compatible with UNIX and the IBM PC.
